Asia-Pacific Technologies — Mechanical Seal Data Form

Give us as much as you can — every field is optional. The more you fill in, the more precisely we can identify and price the seal, but a few dimensions and a photograph are often enough to get started. All dimensions in millimetres unless you state otherwise.

Equipment type & identification Optional

Skip this if it is easier to send photographs — we can usually identify the pump from pictures of the stuffing box and nameplate.

Where to Measure

The letters below match this drawing, which follows the DIN 24960 convention: A is the shaft, C the stuffing box bore and E the stuffing box depth. Take each measurement from the position marked with the same letter.

If a dimension is awkward to reach, leave it blank and tell us in the notes at the bottom — a photograph of the stuffing box is often enough for us to work from.

These three are the ones that really help — fill them in if you can.

Remaining dimensions Optional
Fluid Data

Temperature and pressure help too — they decide the face and elastomer.
